Rolf Krieger

Rolf Krieger takes the viewer into abstract art made of structures and light, his sculptures take up the abstraction of the diversity of the human body. His pictures are compositions of photos that he transforms into new realities using digital tools. He looks for movements in pictures and reinforces them with wipes and lines of light. He also creates abstract works that are detached from the photo and give an insight into the new abstraction of digital technology. The longer the gaze rests on the works of art, the more spectacular and breathlessly calm his works appear. In atmospheric pictures, the artist transports the emotional effect of the scenery directly to the viewer and adds his own patterns of lines, shapes and colors to landscapes and architecture. In the sculptures made of different materials, the artist abstracts and transfers human forms into new shapes made of wire and ceramics. His works appear as if they came from a parallel world, but at the same time they seem all too familiar in their timeless elegance. But his artworks are more, they possess a reactive quality that elevates them above the status of real things.

Rolf Krieger lives and works in Hamburg and is characterized by great self-taught strength and diversity. His works are sold nationally and internationally, he has clients in Europe, Asia, USA, Australia, New Zealand. He has been dealing with NFT Art (Non-fungible Art) for a short time, which he offers on the "Opensea.io" platform under the Art-Direct label.
