Patrick Mallee

Portrait Patrick Mallee

Since 2011, Patrick Mallee has been a committed painter with a passion.
Inspired by an exhibition in the Bohmann Museum in Celle, he began to paint with the question: how does it work? And so he began to teach himself the craft.
For him, however, it was not always enough to simply create a picture out of “the pleasure of bringing color to the canvas”, but at the same time it should have a deeper meaning.
From the early days in 2012 to 2020, Mallee was an active member of Kunstkreis2012 and the Bardowicker Kulturverein and gained a lot of experience in the field of exhibitions during this time.
He experienced exhibitions mainly in northern Germany, especially in Hamburg and Lüneburg.

Driven by the notion that art is an emotional affair, yet one that is listened to thoughtfully, the works are a combination of these two facts at their core and often appear in graphic, straightforward guise, like the works of Piet Mondrian - an idol of Patrick Mallee.
