Katja Nordmeyer
Katja Nordmeyer – lives and works as a freelance artist in Hamburg.
Many years of free painting studies, including with the artist Lothar Schulz-Goldap (student of Prof. Fritz Mackensen).
Katja Nordmeyer knows no limits in her artistic work and does not allow herself to be forced into the framework of a style, but her style is unmistakable. In her abstract paintings, the artist deals with nature, the cornerstone of life, unfortunately threatened by pollution.
In her new series "Vanitas" the artist breaks new ground. She works with a special putty that creates cracks on perforated aluminum or canvas. As a result, the transience of the motifs develops for the viewer. The resulting images have a relief-like character. Their customers include companies and private individuals.
The artist can be seen in numerous exhibitions, mainly in northern Germany.
