Regina Geisler
Regina Geisler, born in Cologne, lived in Berlin for many years of her artistic career. The doctor of physics worked there on quantum theory.
However, her artistically creative side became increasingly important, she began a completely new career in 1993 and completed her training as a photographer in Berlin.
There she successfully took part in many exhibitions, including "War Traces in Berlin, 50 Years Later" at the Federal Agency for Civic Education. In addition to photography, painting began to take up more and more space in her work.
In 2007 she moved to Hamburg, she had her studio in the well-known Hamburg creative center Koppel66. In Hamburg she has taken part in several local art fairs, her studio has been located at the port of Hamburg since 2010.
Since 2013 the artist has concentrated on painting. Both the port of Hamburg and abstract motifs can be found in her work.
