What does "C-Print on Alu-Dibond with 4mm acrylic glass plate and rear surrounding aluminum profile for hanging" mean?
We mount photographs (C-prints) onto aluminum Dibond and under acrylic glass. The photographic print is bonded to the aluminum backing board ("Alu Dibond"). A 4mm thick, crystal-clear acrylic glass sheet is then applied to this. This gives the image a unique depth and brilliance. The surrounding aluminum profile on the back allows for easy hanging and gives the artwork a "floating" look on the wall.
What does "bestseller" mean?
We define bestsellers as photographic works that are particularly in demand among our customers and of which only a few copies are still available.
What does "unique" mean?
This is a unique work of art, created only once by the artist. You can therefore be certain that you are the only one who owns this artwork.
What does "limitation" mean?
We speak of a limited edition when there are multiple identical copies of a work of art, especially photographs. An edition presupposes that the number of copies has been determined and limited by the artist before the first sale. This number remains unchanged even after the sale. Generally, the smaller the edition, the higher the price of each copy.
Is there a certificate of authenticity?
Some works are offered with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. This certificate also includes the edition size and the number of the current copy.
How can a work of art be hung?
Canvases, whether painted or printed, can simply be hung on the wooden frame. C-prints on aluminum Dibond with acrylic glass and a surrounding aluminum profile on the back can be hung directly on the aluminum profile. The aluminum profile is also suitable for hanging on standard gallery rail systems.

How can I find a specific artist?
If you are interested in a particular artist, you can search for their name in our artist overview.
Does the image on the website accurately depict the artwork?
The photograph in our online art gallery shows a faithful representation of the artwork, but has no legally binding value. We can send you further views of the artwork upon request.
If a problem occurs during the purchase process

Do I need a customer account to be able to place an order?
No. You can order from Kunst-Direkt without a customer account. During the ordering process, you will be asked for your customer and payment information.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. After you have completed an order online, you will immediately receive a confirmation by email.
Can I change my order?
No. Unfortunately, it's not possible to change an existing order. If you would like to order another item, simply place a new order.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes. To request a cancellation, please contact our customer service at 0163-9028130 or email us at kundenservice@kunst-direkt.de . After successful verification and cancellation of your order, you will receive a confirmation email and the outstanding amount will be refunded.
Is the artwork insured during transport?
Yes, the artwork is insured against damage and loss.
Who is my contractual partner when ordering a work of art?
The respective artist is your contractual partner. Kunst-Direkt handles the coordination of the order and delivery and is happy to answer any questions you may have.
If I buy multiple artworks, will they be delivered at the same time?
Each artwork is shipped directly from the artist. If two works are by the same artist, they can usually be delivered at the same time. If the ordered artworks are by different artists, you will receive them at different times.
Can the delivery address differ from the billing address?
Yes, the delivery address and the billing address can be different.

What payment methods are available to me?
At Kunst-Direkt, you can pay conveniently and securely online via direct debit , PayPal, or credit card (MasterCard, VISA). With direct debit, the invoice amount is debited directly from your checking account. This is only possible with a German bank account. To pay with PayPal , simply log in to your PayPal account, review your order, and authorize the payment. Credit card payments are accepted from MasterCard and Visa.
How secure is my online payment?
Your online order is secured by modern SSL encryption. This ensures we meet modern standards for online purchases and guarantee you the safest possible payment transaction at all times.
What happens after I pay?
Once you have paid online at Kunst-Direkt.de, the artwork is reserved for you! We will notify you as soon as possible to confirm the artwork's availability and the delivery time (approx. 10-14 business days).

For insured shipping, we calculate the following shipping costs based on the size of the artwork. The longest edge of the artwork is the determining factor.

How are the artworks packaged?
The artworks are packaged by the artists themselves, adhering to high quality standards. We individually select the most suitable packaging for each piece to ensure optimal protection during transport.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery within Germany takes approximately 14 working days. Shipping time may vary depending on size, weight, and delivery address.
Which shipping companies does Kunst-Direkt work with?
We work exclusively with certified shipping partners. These vary depending on the size of the ordered item and the delivery country. Our trusted partners include DHL, UPS, Hermes, DPD, FedEx, and GLS.
To which countries can my work be delivered?

Can I arrange a delivery date?
When your delivery is announced, please contact the shipping provider and arrange a delivery date.
Can I track my delivery?
Yes. When we ship your order, we will send you a shipping confirmation including a tracking number, which you can use to track the status of your order at any time.
What happens if my work arrives damaged?
Should the artwork arrive damaged, please contact our customer service by phone at +49 163 9028130 (Mon-Sat, 10 am - 6 pm) or send an email to kundenservice@kunst-direkt.de. For documentation purposes, we always require photographic evidence of the damage. After receiving your claim, we will immediately initiate the production of a new artwork for you. We will dispose of the damaged artwork to ensure the limited edition number is not increased.
