"Dream yourself to the horizon and when you get there, you can see further".

(Sabine Inselmann)

A treasure trove filled to the brim with life experiences, recycling materials and almost limitless imagination enables the artist, who works in Hamburg and Fuerteventura, to deal intensively with the unique theme she has developed, SKY-LINES.

In the process, lines of the sky of aesthetically composed material horizons are created mostly from recycling materials such as rust, fabrics and leftovers from her painting palettes as well as found objects of any kind that the artist collects on her walks on the beach and places them purposefully in her mixed media works. In this way, abstract, but sometimes also naturalistic landscapes and skies are created that reflect moods of longing.

The goal of each individual work is the harmonious fusion of the respective background with the haptic material selection of the horizon to create a total work of art.

These compositions in the form of paintings and collages on canvas in different sizes and shades of color can also be realized as commissioned works.

Sabine Inselmann has been practicing art for more than 25 years.

All of her work also reflects her very own story, including her childhood in Africa and a year on a sailing yacht in the Caribbean and Mediterranean.
